Mr. William Erickson visited Barlo's World Headquarters on Friday, 9/21. Mr. Erickson joined Men's Wearhouse when it consisted of only 13 individual freestanding locations. Since that time, Barlo has patiently awaited an opportunity to bid Men's Wearhouse exterior sign program.
This past March, at the SPECS Conference in Orlando, Mr. Erickson approached Barlo's Vice President and finally presented an opportunity for bid on a portion of a large change-over. Barlo was awarded the Northeast region consisting of 110 Mr. Tux, After Hours and Squire Tux locations (both malls and freestanding units) that will be converted to MW Tux as of January 6, 2008. Men's Wearhouse now consisting of 1,400 locations!!
The Commerce Bank of Worcester recently secured the naming rights to Foley Field, a renovated athletic field used by five high schools in the City of Worcester school system. Barlo was responsible for fabricating and installing the stadium sign package, both inside and outside the field, for Commerce Bank Field
When asked which location is his favorite, Mr. Erickson commented on our Manchester, NH location for it's "uniqueness" while also considering Barlo's EMC 10% guarantee option while beta testing this same location (see design option). Mr. Erickson prefers freestanding units as men are more comfortable shopping at an individual location rather than a mall. Most important to Mr. Erickson is "maximum readability" when referring to signage.
Other notable sites are Lawrence, MA - converting to internal illumination on freestanding. MANY mall locations.
